“We have lost a true community jewel with the passing of Joan (‘Triple J’) Jackson Johnson. Joan was a tireless advocate for the less fortunate in our community. Her servant heart and passionate advocacy were unlimited for the vulnerable population she loved dearly. At the Lansing Regional Chamber, we were proud to recognize her with the ATHENA Leadership Award, a tribute she richly deserved many times over. Her passing leaves a huge void with her family, her many friends and throughout the community she loved and served.”
