LANSING, MI – December 17, 2024 – The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) commends the Lansing City Council for their vote in support of the Transformational Brownfield Plan #87: New Vision Lansing. The approval of this critical project moves us one step closer to revitalizing downtown Lansing and positioning it for future growth.

“We thank the members of the Lansing City Council for their leadership and for recognizing the importance of this project,” said Tim Daman, President & CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “This development will play a key role in diversifying our downtown with new housing opportunities, enhancing our urban core, and supporting local businesses as we work to create a thriving, dynamic, and attractive community for current and future residents.”

The LRCC views this project as a significant step toward achieving a balanced mix of office and residential spaces, which will drive economic activity, attract new investment, and foster job creation.

“We are excited to see continued momentum in revitalizing our downtown,” Daman added. “This project demonstrates what can be accomplished when the public and private sectors work together to build a stronger, more vibrant city.”
