LANSING, MI — October 1, 2024 — The Lansing Regional Chamber-Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC) proudly endorses Elissa Slotkin for U.S. Senate.

“Elissa Slotkin is the principled and pragmatic leader who has worked hand in hand with our business community,” said Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tim Daman. “From my years working with Elissa, I’ve seen that she puts the microphone down and listens and has stood firm in supporting our business community in some of the toughest moments we’ve had. Elissa Slotkin is prepared to deliver for our small businesses in the U.S. Senate. At a time when our politics are so deeply polarized, Elissa has found a way to deliver for Michiganders as any true public servant would. Whether it was helping provide relief during COVID-19, or a landmark bill like the CHIPS Act to bring critical manufacturing back to places like Michigan, Elissa has shown she’s capable of working across the aisle and getting things done in Washington, D.C.”

Elissa Slotkin also played a key role in passing the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act, a historic investment in our nation’s infrastructure that will deliver long-overdue upgrades to Michigan’s roads, bridges, water systems, and broadband access. The act’s impact can already be seen in critical projects like the Michigan Avenue Corridor and water infrastructure improvements across Mid-Michigan. Slotkin’s leadership in securing federal investments for these infrastructure improvements will help drive economic growth, create jobs, and ensure Michigan remains competitive for years to come.
