LANSING, MI — The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 10th cohort of Leadership Lansing, set to begin this fall. This esteemed program is designed to cultivate and empower emerging leaders in the Greater Lansing area, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and networks necessary to drive positive change in their communities.

Leadership Lansing is a comprehensive program that includes interactive sessions, tours, and unique networking opportunities with some of the region’s most influential leaders. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the region’s economic, political, and social landscape, and develop essential leadership competencies.

“We are excited for our 10th cohort of Leadership Lansing this fall. It’s been inspiring to see the impact of the program – business connections that resulted in new opportunities, alumni in elected positions serving the community, increased individual leadership skills, and a greater overall understanding of the systems and organizations that drive our region. Plus, it’s been a lot of fun and laughter,” said Susan Combs, co-facilitator of Leadership Lansing.

Since its inception, Leadership Lansing has made a significant impact on the community, with alumni serving in various leadership roles across the public and private sectors. The program’s comprehensive curriculum and hands-on approach have equipped participants with the tools needed to address contemporary challenges and contribute to the region’s growth and prosperity.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply early, as spots are limited. Applications will be accepted until Friday, September 13, 2024. Detailed information about the application process, eligibility criteria, and program structure can be found at lansingchamber.org/leadership-lansing.
