The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) and several East Lansing businesses have created an innovative opportunity to support local businesses that have been particularly hard hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the week of Dec. 7- 12, the public is encouraged to participate in the LRCC East Lansing Small Business Crawl by collecting a Small Business card and visiting/supporting participating businesses.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted our small business community,” said Michelle Rahl, vice president of member engagement, LRCC. “The East Lansing Small Business Crawl is the perfect opportunity to not only support local businesses when they need it the most but have fun at the same time.”

During the week of Dec. 7, shoppers making purchases (gift cards included) at participating businesses will receive points by keeping their receipts and submitting them on the LRCC website, www.lansingchamber.org/smallbusinesscrawl. Players who support five participating businesses and submit their receipts on the LRCC website are entered into a drawing to win prizes. Players who support ten participating businesses and submit their receipts on the LRCC website are entered into a drawing to win prizes, along with the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000. There is no limit to the number of times players can submit a completed Small Business Crawl card.
