July 6: Last day to register for the August 3 primary election
July 31: Voters who wish to receive an absent voter ballot for election by mail must submit applications.
August 2: Voters qualified to obtain an absent voter ballot for election may vote in person in clerk's office.

October 4: Last day to register for the November general election
October 30: Voters who wish to receive an absent voter ballot for election by mail must submit applications.
November 1: Voters qualified to obtain an absent voter ballot for election may vote in person in clerk's office.

Michigan voter law requires a photo identification to cast a ballot.
