Region’s Top Young Professionals Recognized at
Ten Over the Next Ten Awards

The Lansing region’s top young professionals who are expected to contribute significantly to our community over the next ten years were recognized in the Ten Over the Next Ten awards held September 28 at the Country Club of Lansing.  The fourth annual event was sponsored by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) and the Grand River Connection.  Sparrow Health System served as presenters of the Ten Over the Next Ten program. Congratulations to the following winners:

“These 10 professionals will make a tremendous impact on the greater Lansing area throughout their careers,” said Tim Daman, LRCC President and CEO. “They are truly the ones to watch.”

The winners of the Ten Over the Next Ten awards were judged based on their professional achievement, community involvement and personal success.  Applicants were required to be 35-years-old or younger, professionally centered in the tri-county area (Ingham, Eaton, Clinton) and with a minimum of two years working in the Mid-Michigan Community.

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the tri-county region, serving a business population of more than 14,000 companies.  LRCC is dedicated to making business in the region more profitable by providing programs that create new customers, enhance member visibility and create a prosperous economic environment.  LRCC members rely on four key areas to help them succeed: Business Advocacy, Business Expansion, Business Savings & Business Exposure.

The Grand River Connection seeks to develop a stronger network to support Lansing and East Lansing's young and vital workforce. Our diverse, non-partisan group provides fun, social, and professional connections that encourage economic growth and community involvement where we live, work, and play.
