The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (LRC PAC) has announced the following endorsements in races in the August 3rd primary election:
“These three endorsements reflect the Lansing Regional Chamber’s commitment to endorsing a strong, bipartisan group of leaders who share our view on the need for sound fiscal, tax and regulatory policies at the state and local levels,” said Kristin Beltzer, senior vice president of Government Relations and Public Affairs for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Brian Calley (R-Portland) has served in the State House of Representatives since 2006 where he has served on the Tax Policy, Health Policy and Banking & Financial Services Committees. Prior to joining the Legislature, Calley worked for a decade in community banking. He is running for the Senate seat being vacated by Alan Cropsey.
Andy Schor (D-Lansing) has served since 2003 as Ingham County Commissioner from the 5th District, which covers southeast Lansing. During his tenure, Schor has served on the county Services and Finance committees. Schor is employed by the Michigan Municipal League where he advocates and assists cities, villages and urban townships throughout the state.
Vince Dragonetti (R-Delhi Township) has been self employed for 35 years as a financial counselor, and owner of several retail establishments. Dragonetti decided to run for the Ingham County Commission after attending 60 Commission meetings over the past 18 months.
LRC-PAC is the nonpartisan political action committee of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce representing 900 businesses in Lansing and over 1,400 businesses in the tri-county region. The LRC-PAC objective is to endorse candidates committed to the principles of free enterprise, economic growth and a pro-business philosophy.
