Internship Program

The Lansing Regional Chamber Internship Program offers an outstanding opportunity for motivated students to gain real world experience working closely with the Chamber's staff. The Chamber recognizes its responsibility to offer students its unique Chamber experience and help them excel in their chosen field.

The intern program runs for the length of one semester, and hours of work vary, with most averaging 15 hours a week.

Intern responsibilities will range depending on the area of interest and time invested.  All interns should be ready to work hard, learn quickly, and cooperate with a diverse team serving the people of the Lansing Region.  Interns can start a portfolio with the materials that they will generate during their intern experience.

Compensation

The Lansing Regional Chamber internships are unpaid.  Some colleges and universities provide stipends, tuition waivers, or temporary loans to help cover internship expenses.  Although there is no monetary compensation, materials and experience generated by interning at the Lansing Chamber will become priceless when interns need to find full time jobs.
